Uber mich

Ich bin ein britischer IT-Spezialist mit einem akademischen Abschluss (BSc.Hons. Statistics and Business Studies) und einem Post Graduate Certificate in Software Engineering.

Ich habe über zehn jähre Erfahrung in Korrekturlesen und deutsch/englische Übersetzungen und verfüge über ein breites Wissen von deutscher, englischer und amerikanischer Kultur, Politik, Naturwissenschaft Technologie und Geschichte.

Ich habe perfekte Kenntnisse in Rechtschreibung und Grammatik. Habe Erfahrungen in Nachhilfe und Konversation mit Erwachsenen zum Professor niveau in akademischem Englisch.

Mein Niveau der englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift ist besonders gut und ich bin vertraut mit Trends in England und Amerika.

In meinem Arbeitsleben habe ich als Manager und in technischen Positionen in lokalen und überregionalen Behörden, im Finanzwesen, Logistik, Immobilien, Industrie und Handel in Deutschland und England gearbeitet.

Over five years experience in proof-reading and German/English translation, and with a wide knowledge of German, US and UK culture, politics, science, technology and history.

Have successfully edited and corrected papers for submission to academic journals, corrected novels to publisher acceptance level, proof-read professorial „habilitations“, doctoral theses, final accounts of stock exchange listed companies and undertaken many other correction/proofreading/translation tasks to the full satisfaction of the client.

Have continuing relationships with a number of University departments (Science and engineering) and regularly make the final checks on English translations made by a highly -qualified German native speaker „Vereidigt Ubersetzerin“

Second to none proficiency in spelling and grammar. Has coached Germans (of up to professor level) in UK academic English .

Excellent level of spoken and written English, up-to-date with trends in the US and UK.

My career has included management and technical positions in local and central government, financial services, real estate, logistics and industry and commerce within the UK and Germany.
